I hadn't thought about the economic aspect of it, but I do think that providing free playing tools such as this provides greater economic incentive for publishers like TGOC to increase product value. And that's not to say they don't, already; their stuff is nice. Nicer than my "ugly hacks".
I guess it's just that I really, really don't want to sell this stuff. I know there are plenty of gamers out there like me that don't have spare change lying around to buy the nicer stuff, and I'd like to give them something.
PS: Like I said, take a look at TGOC's stuff. It may be for you.

Well, not everyone. Linus Torvalds couldn't afford UNIX, so he wrote Linux for free. The two co-exist nicely to this day.Janx said:It's the paradox of the 'net.
