The Hamdog and Luther burger

Folks don't understand that concept of moderation anymore. Although I don't much like the idea of the Luther burger, prefering not to mix my salty and sugary fat, as long as you get enough exercise (which I honestly don't) and don't eat too much (I do a better job here) you can eat fatty foods without immediately worrying about your health.

I also recommend being born with an amazing genetic makeup like me. I eat greasy, fatty, salty foods all the time and my cholesterol always comes back "Excellent". I'm also among the more svelt of my friends (though I try not to rub it in...much). And a fabulous head of hair!

My genetic makeup has its downsides too though. Type I Diabetes being the primary one.

Thus, the Luther Burger would not be a regular part of my diet. But if I could find a place that served the Hamdog...

I'm one of those who, if they ate fatty stuff like that would be making a beeline for the restroom...... stuff like that goes right thru me.... Even with that, I don't know if I want to see what my cholesterol level is..... it'd probably still be YIKES!

Deep fry some hash browns and put them in a nice deep bowl. Then cut a buscuit in half and throw it on there. Smother that in sausage gravy (the white kind with big chunks of sausage floating in it). Add to the top of that two fried eggs, sunny side up. Lay on a lattice of 4-5 pieces of bacon and then sprinkle on some shredded cheese that'll melt and you've got The Captain's Breakfast. Then just pour on a liberal helping of Tobasco sauce and dig in!.

I now have a new breeakfast. :heh:

I love the Keys Rel, mom's family are Conchs from Key West. I understand your love for the laid back style down there. *pinning for the Keys*

True true, except I don't care for Buffet, go figure. :\

I've always been more into the Key West city "vibe". Kinda small-town america yet carribean island sorta thing. Plus nothing like a hot muggy night doing the Duval Crawl.

 I can understand someone not liking Jimmy Buffett. But you strike me as just the sort of guy who would enjoy a good buffet. ;)

Hmm Key West isn't like any other small American town I can think of.

Perhaps as seen through the eyes of Hunter S Thompson...
