It's different. That doesn't make it better or worse than traditional Celtic music. A little too frenetic for me, personally. I prefer traditional stuff on traditional instruments in general. (I know, I know - I'm a sap.) Some people REALLY like them, though, and I have heard some say how their stuff was a bridge for them to get into the whole Celtic folk music genre.
