I tend to only make one kind of cookie around the holidays. It's an old German family recipe. It's a meringue cookie with pecans in it. They are fantastic, but a pain to make because you can only make one batch at a time or they won't turn out right and they take all night to bake. (You turn on the oven when you start making the batter, put them in the oven, turn it off and leave them all night) So, you can't just make one batch after another. They are called Forgotten cookies.
