It doesn't make me want to play a dwarf any more than I usually do. I try to play something different with each character.

When I first saw Thorin in the trailer, I thought it was Aragorn; the dwarves seem too slim for my tastes.

And actually, I'm with Oryann on playing Smaug. I play dwarves all the time; being the dragon would be a welcome change .

Heh, I have always liked playing dwarfs, ever since an early influence.

I know, it's hard to spot the influence....

This trailer does make me want the soundtrack for that song though....

I also noticed that the 'cool' dwarves have very human features and well trimmed beards... a shame they lose a lot of their distinctiveness. Gimli (and some of the others) were very distinctly not human which I like.
