The Hunted: Day 1, Hour 2, Minute 25 The young female watchman shrugs. "He's some rich merchant, I dunno. They just sent us here and told us not to let anyone in. I guess he lived alone, just had the butler and maid to help take care of the place?" She looks around the streets nervously, clutching her spear. "What do you mean something strange? Is whoever did this coming back?" Inside, Earth examines the dead butler while Mab looks over the pipes. Some seem to have small holes in them from which hot air gently blows while others shake gently and the sounds of flowing water sound faintly from within. One of them is so hot to the touch it almost burns Mab's hand. [sblock=Rysethynn and Devinihm]You see what is described above. You do locate his arm (under a chair across the room) and his leg (seems to have landed up on the balcony). You manage to find a few stray silver hairs amidst the gore.[/sblock] [sblock=Earth]It looks like something hit him so hard he blew apart. You're pretty sure nothing natural can hit something that hard - it almost looks like hit was hit from inside out.[/sblock] [sblock=Mab]There seems to be a remarkable lack of anything that indicates family - no portraits of individuals(just a few expensive-looking landscapes), busts, family crests. You're pretty sure whoever owns this is "new rich" - made their money fairly recently.[/sblock]
