The Hypnotism spell

In a recent game, an NPC cast Hypnotism on many different townspeople. She told them that, when they heard or saw a preset signal, to burn down as many buildings as possible.

Is this possible under the spell as it stands? Personally, I'd just give each person another Will save when the trigger happens, modified by time... but that's me. How about you?

Yes, it's possible, and no, they wouldn't need a second save.

Still, it would have to take place in the next 2d4 rounds.

Ah, I see where I made my mistake:

"Even once the spell ends, it [the affected creature] retains its new attitude toward you, but only with respect to that particular suggestion."

Hmm...

Although this spell probably wouldn't have made the townspeople burn down thier own homes - unless already predisposed to it - they may have burned down the homes of people in town they disliked.

I like this spell...
