Does anyone use those IM addreses like I put up my aim account?
I don't think anyone does.

I think the broader question is - does anyone use IM anymore? I don't - too much spyware. Yahoo kept throwing up banner ads all the time. I dumped it.

I use IM all the time. It's the main way I keep track of my friends across the country. There are several clients that won't plague with spyware or advertising. I use Trillian when on a Windows OS and GAIM when on a Linux OS. Both work well.

Trillian is the coolness.

And yes, IM is still used an insanely large amount. Also, I have had people from ENWorld contact me through IMs listed here.

Well your the one that uses Yahoo. AIM doesn't do anything.

I don't have it anymore. that Y! logo is a remnant I need to remove. I mostly post from work, anyway, so I don't have external IM capabilities here anyway.
