The Killer Joke

It's a Monty Python joke. They had a skit about the killer joke discovered by the British and translated into German to use as a weapon in WWII. I think the "German" read during the skit was meaningless.

Well, according to Babelfish it translates as... (don't say you weren't warned!)....

"If the Nunstruck is git and Slotermeyer? Yes! Beiherhund the or the Flipperwaldt gersput."

Whatever THAT means! :)
 



Ah, the Killer Joke. Power Word Kill with a punchline.

See, the original humour of the Killer Joke sketch was that you never actually got to hear the joke (assuming you weren't fluent in German). By reading a joke that one claims is a killer joke kind of ruins the humour... NO joke can ever be as truly heart-stopping funny as that joke of doom. Best to leave the joke unmentioned to your PCs. Helps maintain the humour.
