Netralitor Engwahilien is the nephew of one of Ilferos Engwahilien, Silvanost’s greatest mages.
Engwahilien was one of the nine elves who had assisted Correllon Larethian. Approximately 2,500 years ago his eldest son Atrelrathor was passed over for the choice of being Silvanost's third ruler the majority of the Engwahilien family decided to migrate to Brondani to join the elves that had settled there a century earlier. However, Atrelrathor's younger brother Ilferos chose to remain behind in Silvanost, where he became the chief mage for King Gaeldor, the elf who was selected to be the Third Ruler. Ilferos made a unique set of five rings for King Gaeldor. When Gaeldor decided to leave the world, giving up all of his worldly possessions, the five rings were then distributed to five different family and friends. The Safety Ring of Gaeldor was given back to its creator. .

When Ilferos died without any heirs, his will stipulated that the ring was to be given to his closest living relative, who is in this case was his nephew Netralitor, the current leader of the Engqahilien Family in Brondani. King Elufin of Silvanost objected to this, saying that the ring rightfully belonged to the royal family of Silvanost. However, before the King could take possession of it the ring disappeared. It was next seen many years later, on the hand of Netralitor Engwahilien of Brondani. King Elufin accused Netralitor of stealing the ring, however Netralitor has always stated that it was given to him by a family friend from Silvanost who was just carrying out Ilferos’s final wishes. Netralitor refuses to name the family friend who gave it to him, in order to protect that elf and his family from reprisals.

Netralitor is now 1,852 years old (human equivalent of 68). He is also an 8th level Priest of Correllon Larethian. During his lifetime he has had sixteen wives, of which five are still living. As only two of his wives were full-blooded Silvanost elves, there are over a dozen generations of part-blooded offspring, and it is said that over 2,000 residents of the city can trace some of their lineage back to Netralitor. He has a relaxed manner about him. While he is a throughtful man, who seeks to accumulate a considerable amount of information about any given issue, once all the data has been assembled he quickly analyzes it then makes a decisive ruling.

Donald Brondani Smith is the grand-nephew of the current head of the noble family of Brondani. He appears to be fully-human, standing 6-foot-two, with exceptional strength and a robust build. He has a full head of curly red hair with a full beard and mustache, which compliment his sparkling blue eyes. Despite this appearance, he is actually one-sixth elf, although the only hint of his having elvan blood are small points to his ears, which are usually covered over by his hair. Due to his part-elvan blood Donald appears to be younger than his actual age. Most strangers would think him to be in his late thirties or early forties, when he is actually fifty-five years in age.

Donald's quarter-elvan mother, Elsa Brondani, is the sister of the current Brondani family leader. She is also the granddaughter of Netralitor Engwahilien. His eighth-elvan father, Kenneth Smith, can trace his lineage back to the Sindafalthion family. Kenneth apprenticed as a sword smith with the Engwahilien family, which is where he met and fell in lover with Elsa. Donald and his other mostly human siblings were fostered with the Brondani household.

Like his father, Donald was trained to be both a fighter and a sword smith. His skills were exceptional, and he was invited to apprentice with the elvan house of Novardaian, the finest sword makers in the city. While there he fell in love with an elvan woman named Trelannian, and became her second husband. This was, however, not to last as he found that he "did not share well" and the union was soon dissolved. He then returned to the Engwahilien household, where he became the personal guard for this great-grandfather, Netralitor.

The Kingdom of Ravensgate

Situated along the side of a small mountain approximately half-way between the Kingdom of Silvanost and the City of Brondani is the Kingdom of Ravensgate. This Kingdom is wealthy city state that has been built atop the ruins of a ancient dwarven-built city.

It is located at a crossroad of three main trade routes as well as the beginning a navigatable river. The river starts at the conjunction of several smaller rivers and streams, most of which flow down from Raven Mountain. The mountain is a 12,000 foot peak located immediately northwest of the City of Ravensgate, with about a third of the city being built into the side of this mountain.

The southern road from Ravensgate runs parallel the river, and flows to the south then southeast. The closest major community along this road is the city of Threshold, population 5,000, located 120 miles to the south. The road and river then go southeast for another 200 miles through dense forests, before reaching plain lands and the town of Sulescu, population 950, which is populated by human and gnome farmers. From there it flows another 75 miles to the sea at the massive city of Kelvin, population 20,000. Kelvin is approximately 100 miles southwest of the coastal city of Brondani, and 150 miles northeast of this regions major port city of Qualivesti, population 50,000.

The western road from Ravensgate runs parallel a tributary of the river, along a road that circumnavigates several mountains. The first major community reached along this road is the dwarven city of Highforge, population 7,500, approximately 80 miles west and slightly north of Ravensgate. Highforge is a walled city situated atop an elevated mountain plateau. The western road then continues through a forested valley through a mountain notch. The valley is owned by the Highforge King, whose wealth is tied to the forests, which have the only harvestable timber within fifty miles of the dwarven city. Most of this timber is harvested for support beams in the multitude of dwarven mines of this region. The next community along the western road is the dwarven military city of Fort Burin, population 10,000, 65 miles northwest of Highforge. Another road heads south through the mountains from Highforge, to Fort Drundarr, another walled dwarven city of 6,000, located 45 miles to the southwest.

The other road travels to the northeast, the first major community reached being the human and elvan town of Riflathion, population 1,700, approximately 60 miles northeast of Ravensgate. The road then forks, heading north to the elvan Kingdoms of Tauralda and Silvanost, and east to the human city state known as the Dimitri Kingdom, population 6,500.
 

History of Ravensgate

History of Ravensgate

Ancient writings and magical research in Ravensgate have shown that the original city was named Mountaingate, and populated by a Dwarven King who surrounded himself with magically-inclined humans. Both the human and dwarven populations of the city grew over the course of several millennia, finally reaching a peak of approximately 3,000 from each race.

Records show that the city was attacked approximately 5,600 years ago, during the reign of King Drundarr, by a massive army of giants. This invading army was comprised of over a thousand giants, assembled by a Stone giant named Bregathalark who convinced the leaders of other giant races to join him. As a result of this attack only two structures from the original city still stand, both massive mountainside castles situated on opposite ends of the city. The population of Mountaingate was forced to retreat to the two castles to mount a defense. King Drundarr, the city’s dwarves, and Drundarr’s 400-strong army (comprised of both races) went to defended the eastern castle while the human mages and the city’s other humans went to defend the western castle. They giants spent several months leveling every other building in Mountaingate, then using the stones as weapons, which they then catapulted at the castles. The western castle used powerful magic to deflect these stones back at their attackers, while the dwarves of the eastern castle collected and used the stones as building materials to reinforce the walls with a second wall. The siege went on for several years.

The siege was finally broken when a group of human mages and clerics in the western castle appealed to a deity, a powerful demigod in the form of a raven, to come and aid them. A swarm comprised of 200,000 ravens then descended upon the city. The magical birds were able to attack the giants, but were able turned ethereal when the giants struck back at. After about a month of incessant bird attacks over half of the giant army had fled, and the dwarves of the eastern castle were then able to mount an attack which defeated the remaining giants.

The mages explained to King Drundarr that the Raven God now required that the land of Mountaingate be dedicated to him, as reward for his assistance. The Dwarven King understood the necessity of honoring and remunerating the god that had saved his people, but was also unwilling to dedicate himself and his dwarven followers to a non-dwarven deity. King Drundarr went into seclusion in a deep mountain cave for ten days to contemplate this. When he returned he said that he had used an artifact to communicate with both the dwarven and raven deities, and was given assistance by them in deciding the fate of his land and its people.

He declared that Mountaingate was no more, and that the dwarves would find themselves a new home. He declared that this land was now to be called Ravensgate, in honor of the Raven God. To the leader of the human mages he gave the western castle, saying the raven god would be worshipped there by him and his spellcaster followers. He named this mage the Raven King, and told him that “You will be the spiritual leader, but not the political leader, of this new community.”

Drundarr then chose the highest ranking human fighter from his army, a Colonel named Grandknight, and declared that he would be the King of Ravensgate, giving this man the eastern castle to rule from. The dwarves then packed up their possessions, and headed west, where they founded the community of Highforge. They then established Fort Burin and Fort Drundarr as military outposts to establish the borders of their new dwarven kingdom.
 

Ravensgate

The Present City of Ravensgate

During the time since Ravensgate’s founding the city has evolved somewhat. To this day it continues to be ruled by the descendents of Grandknight, although twice the direct line of succession was broken by a lack of male heirs, and a new King had to be chosen from a list of distant cousins. The present King of Ravensgate is handsome man in his early fifties, who inherited the position from his father a few years ago. He has two sons, each titled Prince of Ravensgate, the eldest of which is slated as the heir to the throne. All three of these men stand slightly above six feet in height, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

The eastern castle itself is an elaborate structure that has been very well maintained over the years. It has several grand ballrooms, and the royal family frequently entertains the heads of the various families of the city, as well as any visiting dignitaries. The current leader of the royal family of Ravensgate also enjoys traveling to other lands as visiting royalty.

The Kingdom remains a city-state, with their territory actually covering up to approximately twenty miles to the northeast, and east, and thirty miles to the south and southwest. Most of the lands outside of the city are farmlands, with tenant farmers who work for the royal family Ravensgate also claims the entire southeast side of Raven Mountain, which looks down upon the city. The city itself is very lush with plants and trees, due in part to the wonderful irrigation systems of by the river and its tributaries, and one might mistake it for an elvan community due to all of the plant life. The city is also incredibly clean, and one of great wealth, having no “lower class”. Even the dock areas along the river are lacking in the usual waterside taverns, sailors and other rabble usually associated with port communities. Newcomers to the town, especially those of limited wealth, are required to find employment as apprentice trades-persons within fifty days of their arrival in the city or move on.

Most of the streets wide streets through the city are paved with stone, and gardens have been planted along both sides of each street, giving each road a park-like appearance. Houses are spaced far apart, many on two to ten acre lots. Many estates are surrounded by walls and gates, but with considerable amounts of ivy and other vegetation along them to make these barriers appear less domineering or restrictive.

The long-term population of Ravensgate is predominantly human, although it is not uncommon to see other races, particularly elvan and gnome, stop by for extended visits of a decade or two. The city is also a frequent stopping place for druids, who feel very comfortable among the flora and open acceptance in the community of spell casters. While the population of the city still owe their reverence to the Raven God, this deity is no longer actively worshipped by most of the population. Throughout the city there are several park-like temples dedicated to the Raven God, with states of the deity, however these are now regarded primarily as recreational areas having historical significance rather than a strong religious connotation. The only place where the deity is still actively worshipped in the western castle, the Castle of the Raven King.

The Castle of the Raven King is the home for the Ravensgate School, one of the most prestigious but restricted wizards schools in the world. While the Raven God is actively worshipped by the Raven King and the Senior Instructors of the school, all of whom are both Mages and Clerics, it is the magical rather than clerical abilities that the school focuses upon. To most of the outside world the school is only one of wizardry. While the Raven God is spoken of to all students, it is taught more as a life philosophy that emphasizes dedicated study and use of magic, rather than as a religion. In fact, clerical magics are not even taught in the undergraduate school, and only the most skilled and gifted of graduate students are exposed to the study clerical magics in addition to wizard magic.

The school also has an intensive research library. While all of the classroom areas of the school are off-limits to everyone not affiliated with the school, most of the library itself is open to outside guests who wish to use it. These guests are always closely supervised, and are also expected to make some type of contribution in return for use of the library. While monetary contributions would be accepted if is preferred that guests donate one or more books that are not already part of the school’s current holdings.

Students of the school are required to swear a pledge of loyalty and devotion to the Raven King. Included in this is the requirement that they will keep secret the details of the education that they receive. All residents of the castle wear a uniform comprised entirely of black – boots, pants, shirts, leather vests, and leather bracers.

Each also is given a hooded magical cloak. The degree of magic granted by the cloak is directly proportional to the level of education. Recruits to the school are given cloaks whose only additional ability is to detect the presence of magic and the ability to read various magical writings on the cloaks. These writings can only be seen by others wearing a Ravensgate School cloak (the writings signify rank, student group, specific schools of magic, honors and awards earned, as well as demerits). Recruits are allowed to reside at the castle for up to a year before starting their formal instruction. They are expected to use this time to familiarize themselves with the school’s culture, conduct their own research, and most importantly decide what specific type of magic they wish to specialize in. Once a Recruit has chosen a discipline they are then rigorously tested to make sure that the faculty concur with that decision.

The school allows for a total of 320 undergraduate students at any point in time, 128 first year students, and 64 students for each upper class. Undergraduate students are organized and housed into groups of twenty, consisting of eight first year students a quartet from each of the upper years of study. Each of these groupings is known as a Prerogative, and the older students are expected to work with and develop younger students. There are a total of sixteen Prerogatives, each with a unique focus on slightly different aspect of magic.

Peer pressure is a very real issue with these groups. If ten or more members of a Prerogative agree that any member of the Prerogative is not ready to advance that individual is then required to either repeat a year or even start again as a first year student in the same or a different Prerogative. However, most of the decisions regarding student advancement are made by members of the faculty. These instructors have very precise and exacting standards, which must be met in full before students are permitted to advance and eventually graduate.
 

Ravensgate School

Ravensgate School – Undergraduate Curriculum

First year students have cloaks that also allow them to communicate with ravens or people polymorphed into raven form (fourth year students and instructors). Most of the first year curriculum is spent learning rudimentary magic, the philosophy of the school, and developing a rapport with fellow students. There are a great many tests done during this year to make sure that the student is in the appropriate Prerogative for their personality and abilities. There is no shame attached with repeating a first year with a different Prerogative, as it best to ensure that the student is properly matched. That is one reason that only half of first year students advance in any given year. A number of first year students, rather than repeating the first year, are actually removed from the Ravensgate School. It is emphasized to these students that this is not an indication of failure, just a recognition that there is not a good match between this school’s philosophy and perspective and that of the student. These students are usually transferred to other wizard schools though out the world, where the RavenKing will then pay for their full tuition and fees, asking nothing in return other than their silence about the secrets of the Ravensgate School.

Second year students are given cloaks that also shield the wearer from psionics or other mind-controlling magic. This is in part because second year students receive much of their training outside of the castle walls, being teleported by instructors to various locations and challenges throughout the world. By having the novice students be mind-shielded, the school doesn’t need to fear that outsiders might discover the school's secrets. The second year curriculum is designed to test the student’s ability to deal with the outside world and think on their feet. While very few Second year students are demoted or removed from the school, it is common for them to repeat the Second Year if the instructors feel that more training is warranted.

Third year students are given cloaks that also afford significant protection against powerful spells. This is because they spend most of the time in the classroom learning specific spells, and there have been known to be a significant number of “spell accidents” during this training. The extra protection is seen as a precaution to keep the student from being inadvertently harmed by themselves or other students. This is the most exhausting year of the undergraduate program, being the equal to two or three years of study at most other wizard schools, with an average day of instruction lasting from 14 to 18 hours with very few days off. The students are tested constantly, and complete mastery of each spell is expected. The curriculum varies depending upon each Prerogative’s area of study, but they must have full proficiently in a significant number of spells and abilities are required before the student can advance to the next year. A number of third year students often self-volunteer to stop and later repeat this year due to the level of intensity. These students are temporarily removed from the academic program until the start of the next academic year.

Fourth year students are finally awarded cloaks that allow the wearer to polymorph into a raven and then later resume regular form. This magic only works if a magical clasp on the two bottom corners of the cloak are attached to the wrist bracers. Much of the fourth year schooling is spent on flying and the use of the raven form. Fourth year students also receive their familiars, which is always a raven.

The curriculum during the fourth year is relatively light, as the students are expected to spend the majority of their time as leaders of their Prerogatives, helping and guiding the underclassmen. In fact, it is their leadership ability that dictates whether or not a person graduates. Those deemed to lack the leadership abilities required are seldom asked to repeat the year, but are instead asked to assume an appropriate non-faculty staff position with the school as their new career instead. For those non-graduates who do not wish to remain at the castle, the RavenKing will find them a home and appropriate employment elsewhere in the world, again asking nothing in return other than their silence about the school.
 

Ravensgate

There are two common misconceptions about the Ravensgate ravens. The first misconception is that they are ravens. They are actually a sentient avian species from another world that physically resemble ravens. They are all highly intelligent telepaths who are dedicated to the raven god. They also have the ability to make their bodies ethereal at will. They each have a lifespan of approximately 200 years.

The second misconception is that they are the familiars of the students. In reality, it is more the opposite. The reason that the students do not become linked with the raven until their senior year is to allow the thousands of unattached ravens to watch the students for three years to determine which humanoid would be the appropriate one for a particular raven. Unbeknownst to the students, it is the raven that has the final say as to whether the fourth year student is allowed to graduate from the school.

In the years following graduation, it is also the raven who selects whether the student will continue at the school in graduate studies, leave the school but remain in the city of Ravensgate, or leave to explore the outside world. The latter is the most dangerous assignment, and it is the principle responsibility for the traveling mage to ensure that the raven is kept safe from harm. Often the traveling mage will keep the raven in a state of invisibility, as they do not need to be able to actually see the raven due to the telepathic link.

If a Ravensgate mage that is either traveling or living abroad has an approved reason to keep their connection to the school a secret their familiar will be polymorphed into a different type of creature, usually a different type of bird or a faerie dragon, to still allow them the power of flight. Even in a different form the raven still retains their telepathic and etherealness abilities.

Although they are not actually the more common birds, the Ravensgate ravens do have an affinity towards the less-intelligent shorter-lived species, and will often adopt the birds as pets. While the vast majority of the ravens residing at the Ravensgate School are those of the alien species, flocks of the common birds numbering into the thousands live in and near the city. Any student of the school, who fails to graduate, but continues to be a mage, will oftentimes take on one of the common birds as a familiar.
 

Ravensgate

The Chameleons

Two of the most interesting individuals in the city of Ravensgate are a pair of partners known by the nickname of the Chameleons. These are a female human Ravensgate wizardess named Muriel and her raven.

Muriel was originally an orphan, who was adopted by a hippie commune. These were a group of ten pacifist bards and druids of various races and genders who lived together in the forests far from all other people. One day a raven communicated to one of the druids, telling him of a family traveling on a road ten miles from their commune that had been attacked by orcs. The only survivor was a baby girl named Muriel, who would not last long in the wild. The bards and druids quickly organized, found the baby, and raised her as their own.

Seventeen years later the raven returned, telling the commune that the time had come for Muriel to move on to her destiny, as a student at the Ravensgate School of Wizardry. Muriel was a prodigy at the school, shining in all that she did. The raven that had saved her life as a baby was the one to bond with her, and their relationship during the 25 years since then have been very interesting. She and the raven have a much stronger bond than others do. With most, the raven is the superior partner, whereas with Muriel it is symbiotic and equal relationship.

Whereas most of the students of Ravensgate School are Wizards, Muriel is a Sorcerer, as that lifestyle is more fitting to her commune upbringing. She is a master of the Disguise, Hide and Search skills. Her feats are Mobility and Silent Spell. Her key spells are 1st Level: Change Self, Enlarge & Reduce; 2nd Level: Invisibility, Alter Self & Cat's Grace; 3rd Level: Non-detection, Tongues, and Major Image; 4th Level: Improved Invisibility, Polymorph Other & Polymorph Self. She also has for a magic item an inter-dimensional trunk, in which she keeps a variety of clothes, wigs and props used for disguises. While she always has her Raven Cloak with her, hers has the ability to either magically change its outer color or become invisible.

She and her raven are known as the chameleons do to their ability to blend into any situation and adopt new identities as necessary. The raven has no qualms to polymorphed into whatever form would be helpful to the situation, and is one of the few ravens that is willing to actually employ human speech rather than telepathy if necessary. Unlike the other ravens, he has also learned the magic of this world, matching Muriel in level and ability.

Despite her magical proficiency and considerable talents, Muriel is currently only at 9th level. This is due to her care-free attitude towards life, and long-term perspective acquired from her raven. Despite her relatively low level, her skills are in very high demand from both the Raven King and the King of Ravensgate.

Following graduation she worked a decade for the Raven King, traveling the world on various assignments, many of them scouting for new students for the school. She then had a disagreement with the Raven King and left the School, becoming the Royal Court Mage for the King of Ravensgate. Eight years later the Raven King had dire need of her skills again, and called upon her loyalty to the school. She resigned from her position, which greatly upset the King. In the seven years since then she had chosen to not be the direct employee of either man, trying to keep a balance between the two by alternating assignments for them. She and her raven live within a large and elaborate mansion in the middle of the city, equidistant to both castles.

While on assignment away from the city Muriel always uses a first name that is one of the three syllables of her name (Merr, Rhee, or Elle). She has never had a last name, and will use a last name comprised of combining the names of her 'parents' from the commune (Amber, Barlow, Birch, Copper, Patch, Smith, Storm, Stream, Wick and Wood). She never bothers to keep track of which alias is associated with which disguise, as the raven always remembers for her. The raven always takes a new name with each identity that it assumes, and has never used the exact same disguise twice.

The Dwarven Lands

The dwarven city of Highforge, population 7,500, is 80 miles west and slightly north of Ravensgate. Highforge is located atop of an elevated mountain plateau, which is approximatley 3 miles by 1.5 miles in size. It is surrounded by a large stone wall, and there is an even larger wall around each of the four castles within the city.

There are three roads leading up to the plateau, known simply as the "main road", "back road" and "timber road", the latter being an elaborately engineered marvel of chains and pulleys used to transport logs up to the city. Toll booths with armed guards at the the city gates on both the main and back roads, to collect a 2 silver piece toll from all visitors entering the city, and 1 silver piece toll from anybody (residents or visitors) leaving the city. The collection of the money is actually less important to the King than the tax log, which records the date and time of all people coming and going.

The King of Highforge originally ruled the lands between here and the dwarven cities of Fort Burin, population 10,000, 65 miles northwest and Fort Drundarr, 45 miles to the southwest. Both of those cities have since become autonomous, with their own Kings, however all three cities have written agreements to band together in times of war.

The current King of Highforge King is named Brinn, and like his predessors, his wealth is tied to the forests. He officially own all of the harvestable timber within fifty miles of the dwarven city. Most of this timber is harvested for support beams in the multitude of dwarven mines of this region.

The city's population consists of approximatly 6,800 dwarves, 500 humans, and 200 gnomes. The city has 5 inns; 11 brothels; 4 general stores; 5 armorers; 4 stonecutters; 7 lumberyards; 1 stonecutter; 4 smiths; 5 tailors; 3 brewerys; 2 winerys; 11 shines/churches; 1 glass blower; 1 bank; 1 grist mill; 3 weavers; 2 potters; 1 glassblower; a one slave monger, who deals in goblin slaves sold to work in the mines.
 

Dwarven Weapons and Legends

Moradin’s Maul and Drundarr’s Axe

It was during the seige of Mountaingate, approximately 5,600 years ago, that a pair of unique magic items entered into the life of King Drundarr. The invading army of over a thousand giants had forced the population to retreat to the city’s two castles. They seige lasted for several months, during which time all but the two castle of Mountaingate were destroyed by the giants.

It was during this time that a magical axe was created for King Drundarr, to use against the enemies. It took several weeks of preparation for the master smiths and priests of Moradin to get the Castle’s forge properly prepared to create the item. Many of the dwarves in the city donated rings and other items made from either mitheral or adamantite to melt down to create the item. A group of human and dwarven rogues also braved capture by the enemy in smuggling an enchanted shaphire from the other castle to the forge, so that it could be imbedded into the handle of the weapon.

The end result was an axe, specifically made for King Drundarr, designed to bring defeat to the giants. Shortly after the axe was created a swarm of 200,000 ravens descended upon the city, a gift from a raven god worshipped by the humans in the other castle. King Drundarr had his clerics then pray to their own god, Mordain, to also come to Mountaingate’s aid. Meanwhile, the morale of the giants began to wane under the constant attacks from the birds, and the number of giant deserters grew daily.

Three weeks later their prayers of the priests were answered, with the arrival of a dwarven High Priest of Moradin named Thurdin, from the fabled dwarven city of Kouvz’d. Thurdin’s arrived via a Plane Shift spell, dedicating himself to fight for King Drundarr, and weilding the great Maul of Moradin, a hammer created by the god himself. The King and the High Priest led the dwarves of Mountaingate into battle against the more than 400 giants that reaminded in the city.

The two dwarven leaders pushed their assault until they came upon the leader of the giants, a stone named Bregathalark. Thurdin brought down Flame Strikes on top of the foes bodyguards, and then singlehanded took out Bregathalark’s second-in-command, a fire giant named Harakalaw, as King Drundarr charged and slew Bregathalark. With their two leaders slain, the remaining giants hastily retreated, and the day was won.

A grand celebration followed, during which the rather humble High Priest Thurdin chose to quietly depart and return to Kouvz’d, not being comfortable with praise and adolation centered at him rather than Moradin. It is unknown what became of the Maul of Moridin, although there are rumors that it was last seen being weilded by a dwarven warrior/priest on the Phlooredah continent at the Battle of Mount Karjjil approximately 150 years ago.

King Drundarr and his followers left Moutaingate shortly after that, travelling west to found the dwarven city of Highforge. The axe was later weilded by Hartharr, the great-grandnephew of Drundarr, during the epic battle of Grey Dragon Lake, approximately 4,800 years ago. It later became the property of the King of Fort Drundarr. It was last known to be in the possession of King Brothamund III of Highforge, who lost in 225 years ago in a climbing accident while near the summitt of Mount Roundtop.
