The Lamination of the GM Screen

FCWesel

First Post
I was just wondering in anyone tried laminating one of their GM Screens.

I have a couple that I would like to protect a bit more and, at the same time strengthen it up a bit more as GM Screens these days, for the most part tend be on the cheap side of material-ville. (The exception to this seems to be the NWoD screens, which look to be heads above industry norm in material.)

At the same time I want it to function (fold and bend properly) at the same time.

Thanks.

Haven't tried it, but if you find that the folding is an issue, you might want to score the folds with an X-acto and then compress the screen between a couple of books. It would leave the seams more vulnerable, but that's still more protection than you have right now.

I will keep that in mind, if/when I try it out. Thanks for the idea. :)

The best DM screen around can be found here:

This screen has it all, much better then WoTC's version.

Not looking for a GM screen. I asked if anyone had laminated thier GM screen. Thanks for posting anyways. :)

As for the quality of that screen, that's a "eye of the beholder thing obviously" as I saw that one at the store. I hated it. Granted, I dislike Kenzer products for the most part anyways but I found that screen attrocious.

Clear contact paper should do the trick. Usually glossy is best. follow the instructions carefully since a botch will be a big problem.

I had laminated 6 diffrent DM screens years ago. Sadly they were lost, all in on fell swoop.

Great minds think alike. I saw the thread title and thought: "I wonder how my woman would take to lamination?"
