Hello,

The Le here of The Le Games (pronounced Tay Lee Games). Here are my tentative plans for 2008, in case anyone cares.

-50 Cent Modern Feats (3.5e). Jan 2008. Hot on the heels of 50 Cent Feats for the fantasy d20 system, this awesome new book comes out later this month for the paltry price of... well, fifty cents.

edit: 50 Cent Modern Feats is available now!

-Broken: Broken: The Lost Moon (3.5e). Jan/Feb 2008. The expansion to Broken: The Memory of Solaris is nearly complete! This is a story of the moon of Solaris shrouded in sandstorms and populated by lycanthrope tribes, druids and undead. Broken is a fantastic campaign setting that takes place in space. Forget everything you knew about "Spelljammer" -- Broken takes it to a whole new level! Want to know more? Come to http://www.BrokenSolaris.com

-Neo Druids: The Savage Heart (3.5e). Feb 2008. A new class written by The Le and Alzrius, this book takes the Druid Class and makes it cool again! Spells? You don't need to stinking spells... (after all, you have a Savage Spear!)... Custom art by Brad McDevitt! This new NEO book (and all future ones) will be priced at $1.00!

edit: Neo Druids: The Savage Heart is available now!

-Unorthodox Wizards (3.5e). March 2008. The last core class to be released in Unorthodox format, this baby will be set at a reduced price to celebrate this fact. The third (and final) editor sent me the final copy recently, and it looks fantastic! Custom cover by Brad McDevitt.

-Video Game Magic Items (3.5e). March 2008. Written by the Alzrius, this book focuses on 25 magic items pulled straight out of your favorite video games! Want to intimidate your opponents? How about a magic mushroom that turns you into a giant? Trippy, man! Custom interior images by Herb McGihon.

[imager]http://www.TheLeGames.com/images_ForumPosts/PressRelease/2008PressRelease_UO3.jpg[/imager]-Unorthodox Orthodox 3: Menage' a Trois (3.5e). April 1st 2008. 'Nuff said.

edit: Unorthodox Orthodox: Menage' Trois is available now!

-Pimp My Spartan (3.5e). April 2008. Hot on the heels of our successful introduction book, Pimp My Paladin, the Spartan lives again thanks to two new classes inspired by the movie "300", two new prestige classes, new magic items, new artifacts, and new feats!

-17 Druid Spells (3.5e). May 2008. Written by Tony DiGerolamo, this is going to rock your world!

-Neo Pirates (3.5e). June 2008. We continue our line of $1.00 fantasy classes with a new Pirate! Final title to be announced. Arrggghhh!

-Neo Monks: The Staff King (3.5e). July 2008. We continue our line of $1.00 fantasy classes with a new Monk that specializes with the quarter staff! Final title to be announced, but this one is gonna be good!

-Vikings! (3.5e). Spring 2008. This massive book covers 14 chapters and gives you everything you need to know about playing Vikings! YES! We said everything in italics! Vidar Solas authored this massive book and really knows his stuff. Wait till you see Ruinic Magic!

-Broken: Broken: The Pipedream (3.5e). Spring/Summer 2008. The second expansion to Broken: The Memory of Solaris is in development now! This is the home of the glomes where one young glome's plan may give new hope to the dream. Broken is a fantastic campaign setting that takes place in space. Forget everything you knew about "Spelljammer" -- Broken takes it to a whole new level! What to know more? Come to http://www.BrokenSolaris.com

-Forgotten City. Summer 2008 (new system). A brand new RPG written by The Le. When sinners and rejects are cast from their villages and cities, where do they go? To the Forgotten City of course! In this new fantasy rpg, the honorable Dwarves have lost their mountain homelands to the T'Kalli invaders, the elves have won a pyric victory against the raging zombie horde to the south (losing their home island in the process), and the Forgotten City is there to take them all in! Two generations later, the survivors prosper in the Forgotten City, hoping to one day free the Dwarven homelands and find a way to liberate the elvish zombie island! Forgotten City is a new RPG that uses new game mechanics, making it easy to use for players and GMs of all levels. This book will be available in PRINT and PDF.

-Forgotten City Expansion. To be announced.

-Malls and Morons. Summer 2008. Created by Orion Cooper. "It is a light hearted game where the serious issues are ignored and the players will find themselves reveling in humorous antics of fights, breaking things, stealing things, insulting people, defying authority, and vandalism; plus other things we cannot and will not mention on a public site." Get more details here: http://mallsandmorons.pbwiki.com/

-Comic Book Super Heroes RPG 2.0. (new system). Summer 2008. Originally produced and published by Black Drink Creations, this product has been completely rewritten from the ground up! The Le Games is happy to be the publisher of this fine book, with Gallantry Productions handling the layout. There's no need to wait though, the 1.0 edition was released in 2002 in PDF format and is available now for a measly $5.00 at http://enworld.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=16573&it=1

-Starship Evolution. (new system). Fall 2008. A new table-top space combat game, played on a grid map or hex map! Written by The Le and illustrated by Fat Dragon Games, this new game brings you all the excitement of space battles, but with game mechanics that are easy to learn but challenging to master!

-4e books (4e). January 2009. 4e is on the horizon, and The Le Games will be ready for it. The Le Games will not be participating in the Phase I of fourth edition -- That $5,000 fee is a killer and really only accommodates big companies (i.e. it is bad for the consumer). I can think of ten things that my $5,000 is better spent on:

(1) Produce more 3.5e products in 2008, therefore fracturing the market even more between 4e adopters and non-adopters
(2) Start Production on 4e products for Phase II licensing (January 2009)
(3) Pay my mortgage five times
(4) Extend my World of Warcraft subscription by 27 years
(5) Take my wife on a Honeymoon or three
(6) Go to the Chinese Buffet once a month for the next 21 years
(7) Make bigger payments on my monthly credit card bill
(8) Get Carpeting in the living room of my house
(9) Feed my Cats (for the next 30 years)
(10) Buy nice used car or two

I will be doing mostly everything on that list, except the last one (I just plopped $700 on car repairs of my 1995 Geo Prizm, which I fully plan on driving for the next 5-10 years).

That being said, I do have a dozen products in the works for 4e, to be released starting January of 2009, so I will be hitting the ground hard! Currently there are no plans to port my critically acclaimed Unorthodox series to 4e. I fully intend on producing new product lines for 4e.

But don't fret The Le Games fans! I fully intend to produce 3.5e products throughout 2009!

Note that all release dates are soft, and are subject to change. It really depends on how much Hello Kitty Roller Rescue I am playing that month.

THIS.....is SPARTA!

Maybe it's sad, but I'm really looking forward to Meet the Spartans. And I'm also looking forward to Pimp my Spartan. The cover art is awesome!

"Stop kicking people into the pit of death, really."

Vikings! Vikings!

'Cause sometimes the other warriors just aren't enough.

Why can't I do both? With that $5,000 4e Licensing fee I could get a nice laptop, so that I can play WOW on the beach while on my honeymoon..... right before my wife throws it into the ocean..

I've been waiting for this one - anything in the Stodgy Old Hermetic line in there?

The Auld Grump

There are a number of what look to be really good titles in this list.

I recommend Broken to anyone. Its truly different.

I've just been waiting for Vikings for a while and I'm pumped that its coming.

I've said around here that I'm trying to support independent gaming houses - this is the sort of thing I'm thinking about. No lack of talent & quality - really good games.

I think I can field this one since, hey, I wrote it. There are two classes that might qualify as Hermetic, though our visions of a hermetic wizard might differ. I really took the title of Unorthodox Wizards to heart when I designed the classes, and I think they are very unorthodox, though if they are moreso than previous products, that will have to be decided by the consumer. I think the mix of classes in U. Wizards will appeal to both players and dungeon masters.

Talath did a real nice job on Unorthodox Wizards, as did Brad McDevitt with the cover. I was quite disturbed by some of them -- they are very creative. Here's a sneak peek at the five new Wizard classes:
  • Crimson Mage
  • Horse Flesh Devourer
  • Immortal Requient
  • Necropimp
  • Pact Wizard (see cover image)

A full preview will be coming very soon, not to worry. Existing Fans will be highly pleased, and new customers will be very impressed.

It will be a fitting way for the Unorthodox Series to finally come full circle.

I want to shout out a few things. The Necropimp class was written based off a concept developed by Daniel Brew (Drowbane on these boards) and Todd McFarland (not the Todd McFarland). The Crimson Mage was written based off of a character by Aaron Harding (I almost forgot about the Crimson Mage, and now it makes me laugh to remember it).
