ooc: targetted dispel. Sorry for the confusion, I've always called the area one an area dispel and never thought of it as being cast on one specific creature. where as the targetted dispel is directly affecting a single creature and thats the one that I meant to go with.

Tenebrynn's dispel doesn't have any noticable effect. The efreeti responds by throwing a quickened scorching ray at Hogarth (I think a 30 should hit his touch AC, for 9 points of fire damage).

The efreeti then gestures and a sheet of flames crosses the room, engulfing Rinaldo and Ashnar, and separating the rest of the party. (Rinaldo and Ashnar take 21 fire damage from having a Wall of Fire dropped on them. Planus and Charlarn take 3 fire damage from the intense heat.)

Unfazed by the flames engulfing her, Ashnar steps out of the wall of fire and behind and to the left of Hogarth, then shoots a lightning bolt at the efreet, silently bemoaning that it is against a single opponent in such a small room.

Planus dashes through the wall of fire to stand stalwart next to Tenebrynn. As soon as his feet are set, he draws and fires an arrow at the flaming giant.

Hogarth steps forward, pinning the efreeti in the corner, and strikes him for 9 damage.

Ashnar repositions herself and lets fly with a Lightning Bolt. Hanthar is more agile than he looks, sidestepping the lightning for 12 damage.

Charlarn advances through the Wall of Fire and onto the efreeti, his energy shield absorbing the 16 fire damage. (you took 3 earlier for being in a hot zone. shield is down 19)

Planus follows Charlarn through the flames (2d6+12-20=0 damage) and ends up next to Tenebryn. He launches an arrow past his comrades and into the efreeti for 13 damage.

Rinaldo advances on the efreeti, stabbing him with his rapier for 11 damage.

Tenebryn lets loose his Magic Missiles for 12 damage.

Hanthar attempts to lay down another Wall of Fire without further endangering himself, just barely succeeding. This new Wall of Fire is against the northern wall of the room. While no one (except the efreeti) is in the wall; Charlarn, Rinaldo and Hogarth are in a hot zone and each take 8 fire damage; and Tenebryn and Planus take 2 fire damage for being in a warm zone.
