As Kilbeth and Merenwen step out of the shadows behind her, Les lets out a sigh of relief. She nods to the two and her feet halt their slow movement away from the position. So, apparently she was not left completely defenseless. Her eyes narrow though and she does not leave her back open to either. Why would they leave her alone here for so long? And why had they not sent one of the sturdier types along with a magic user?

Surprise round

Kruk and Raiyek combine to break down the back door, while Kilbeth and Les put their shoulders through the front door. (ooc: both doors break)

Cries of confusion and anger fill the room as orcs fumble for their weapons. A gutteral voice rises above the din from the heavily tattooed orc behind the bar: "Quickly, my warriors! The dark masters will reward us for the slaughter we do this day!" The voice is cut off by a hiss and sizzle of acid, as Vashik's acid arrow strikes true. (ooc: hit, 18 damage and 5 ongoing (save ends))

Cross fires magic missiles at the nearest orc, but the orc dodges aside easily. (ooc: miss)

The orc is less successful dodging Balth's volley of arrows, though, and it falls lifeless to the ground. (ooc: Twin Strike hits twice for 1 and 2 damage. O5 dies.)

Merenwen's bow finds its mark too, and another orc dies. (ooc: twin strike against O3 hits twice. O3 dies.)

Larinza charges through the back door and clears the bar with a mighty leap, but her weapon grazes harmlessly off the nearest guard's armor. (ooc: charge misses even with +3 from charge and CA)

Merenwen, Kilbeth, Les, and Raiyek act quickly, before the orcs can react...

Merenwen rushes through, bow drawn to survey the situation. She sees the orc on the left and one further to the right. She moves closer towards the left one (ooc move to F5) , pounding the table to get his attention. It works, as it turns and snarls. (ooc: hunter's quarry)

She grins as she pulls the bow up, leveling it at his face. She looses the arrow, and in one swift motion, reaches over her shoulder, knocks another arrow and lets it fly, as well. (ooc: twin strike, both versus Orc 8-O8)

Both versus Orc 8 (1d20 6=15, 1d20 6=18)

Damage for both attacks, respectively, should they hit. (1d10=10, 1d10=5)

Quarry Damage applied to any successful hit. (1d6=3)

ooc: It's fine with me if you want to roll Commander's strike attacks when you use that power. However, you'll want to remember that commander's strike grants a melee basic attack; a ranger with a bow may not be the best recipient.
