Basically, I'm interested in the class so I can scavenge ideas, but more than the basic idea (fights without armor). What else do they do? I would just head over to my FLGS and take a look myself, but there aren't any I know of, and amazon.com isn't keen on previews :( Any kind souls willing to share a bit of crunchy goodness? :D

Some tidbits:

d8 Hit Die
4 skill points/level (mostly stealth, acrobatic, and social skills)
Fighter BAB
good Ref save (poor Fort & Will)
light armor
sneak attack every 4 levels
6 bonus feats spread over 20 levels
+1 AC bonus (in light or no armor) roughly every 3 levels
special parry abilities
evasion gained at mid-career

Krieg: Bah, I suppose I should update my info... unfortunately, I'm no longer the San Diegan I once was. Now I'm a resident of BFE: Southern Indiana :(

nharwell: Thanks :D that's just enough to let me know that my homebrew is probably cooler.

Piratecat: Doh! :o I assumed it was OGL... my mistake

How far south? Cincy has a couple of OK stores & there's always The Bookery up in Dayton/Fairborn. I'm sure someone can give you info on what's available in Indy.

Remember, gang, it's bad form to ask for lots of info on non-OGL material. Thanks!

My AU's down in the car - but aren't the "class advancement tables and class features" part of the open game content? They are in all the other Malhavoc stuff.

Yes, the class tables and "Class Features" sections of Ch 3 are OGL. Still, I purposely avoided repeating the info verbatim, instead simply summarizing the info....

nharwell, what you posted is cool - the class mechanics are open, and in the OGL "Way of the Sword" PDF, as well. Going much further than that, though, would be shakier ground.
