Hit Dice: d4
Alignment: Any
Class Skills: As Mage
SP Per Level: 2+INT

Bonus Feats at 5, 10, 15, and 20th level
MP: As Psion's Pts
Spells Known: As Psion's Powers Discovered
Familiars: I'm doing away with familiars. Give them at level 1 if you want.

Bonus MP: As Psion. Based on INT.
Primary Discipline: Specialized School
Required Ability Scores: A mage needs an INT score of 10+the spell's level to cast a spell.

Spells: Spells remain as they are. For example: Magic Missile is a Level 1 Spell still
Feats: Work just like Psionic Feats

MAGES DO NOT GET PSIONIC COMBAT
MAGES DO NOT HAVE A SPELLBOOK

You might want to use the spell variants from If Thoughts Could Kill. The damage of the spells are modified so that the math for power point expenditure works more consistently.

You should also use the power scaling variant there. Otherwise you get magic missiles with 5 missiles each for only 1 mana point, etc.
