I posted here quite some time ago (about a year or so) and wanted to repost my work and online portfolio with new additions in the fantasy genre. I am a "Historic Cartographer" by trade working with many companies in the film, publiblishing, and historical fields. I have in the last year or so branched out into the fantasy gaming line as well. Yes, I create, design, and produce all of my own work. The maps are made specifically for the client whether there is a theme involved, location, time period portrayed, colors and illustrations and how it is to be used or reproduced. For the most part, all are created useing very tradition "Portolan" methods with inks on vellum or parchment (Very Expensive) others that are for commercial reproduction and or printing incorporate hand-made imported papers. All aspects are hand done including the text, illustrations, data, and design.

Excellent. What is your rate for a 27" x 33" commissioned piece. I'd love to have a quality map of the U.S. during the time of thiCivil War, as I am a bit of a Civil War buff.
