the miniatures problem

Bag O' 20 attractive, prepainted orcs for $22.00? Most likely, yes. Dragon for $15.00? Attractive and pre-painted, well, depends on size. For 15 bucks I expect large "scale". And, it depends on color. I don't use nice dragons too often, so chromatic would be preferable. And since my campaign is fairly temperate, White may not be a good choice for me if I want to get some use out of it. If you made one of every color and they were a little different from each other I'd probably buy them as a set! Anyway, I'd like that link to the cheaper orcs someone mentioned if you would please be so kind?

I'd defintely pick up the orcs, probably a dragon or two as wekk. Not sure on the giants, depends on how much I like the sculpt and paint job.

I have a thing about prepainted miniatures... I usually don't buy them, because I want to paint them myself. With the massive numbers of the orcs, though... Yeah, I'd buy the orcs. Not the giants or the dragon, though.

With things like the Counter Collections out there, I'd have to say no, I'd not buy the prepainted ones as you suggest.

Depends on how good the figures are. Warhammer plastics, while not cheap and not prepainted are excellent figures and I know many hobbiest who throw base coats onto 'em and throw 'em on the field.

Go for mass units.

1. Orcs
2. Hobgoblins (especially popular for Kingdoms of Kalamar)
3. Kobolds
4. Skeletons
5. Zombies
6. Rats (maybe swarms of 'em?)
7. Lizard Men
8. Ogres
