The Missing Dragons

god am i glad someone is doing these up right. just a question tho . youve mentioned the missing cromatics but what about the metalics mentioned in 2 . mercury, titanium and some thing else. are there plans for them as well?

and on a mildly connected note. does anyone else feel there should be more variation in the 1/2dragon templates? im currently working on individual templates for each dragon type. different but balanced. i cant see a white half drqagon getting the same str and con as a red dragon. there like almost half the size when adult anyway just a question.

keep up the great work i look forward to the next dragon.

p.s. is that doc file of the purple dragon a template page.

 :D

Sengir Lackey: Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the mercury and titanium dragons are not true metallic dragons, the former is neutral, and the latter is a ferrous dragon. But yes, I do intend to convert them aswell. As for the half-dragon template, and variations thereof, read the Draconomicon. And finally, no the Purple Dragon stats in that doc file are written as the dragons are in the MM. :p

Thank you for your comments though (and waiting for an email reply from Kevida) :D

The mercury dragon is chaotic good, actually... I believe that it's not considered a true metallic dragon (like the steel dragon) because it only has one breath weapon. At least, that's the explanation I read somewhere.

Ah, but neither the steel or the mercury dragons are true metallic dragons (i.e: They aren't closely related to other metallic dragons) because of one very simple thing, they lack a secondary breathweapon. In the same vein, the brown dragon is not a true chromatic dragon either, because it lacks the ability to fly. :D

In other words, they share similarities with the metallic dragons, but belong to another family (or two).
