I agree with the Fire Charm and Affect Normal Fires. However I think there should be some sort of "Electricity" abilities due to the fact that they has both fire and electrical within them.

Actually, those two (Fire Charm and Affect Normal Fires) needs to be replaced as they don't excist in 3E, and I am looking for suggestions on what to replace them with. Any ideas?

Not sure that either of these ideas make sense - especially for a melee-oriented creature - but here goes...

Affect Normal Fires: Pyrotechnics - especially the 'fireworks' (blinding light) version.

and...

Fire Charm: Rainbow Pattern

Well, you are about a month late on the suggestions, as I have allready finished the purple dragon. Good suggestions though, I think I actually ended up with using Pyrotechnics as one of the two spells.
