The Blue Monkey? Oh that rocks.

Side note... I love SotC, but why are folks posting non-d20 stuff in the D20/Other forum?

That probably has to so with the complete forum name...
"d20 Modern, d20 System & OGL Games"

I didn't think that meant any game that had an OGL.

I mean, Fudge has an OGL, but it also seems like it belongs in general, not here.

Open Game License is a proper name, trademarked and copyrighted by WotC. SotC is released under this specific license (Fudge is, too, though it was initially released under its own limited, royalty-free, license). By definition, both are OGL games.

My guess would be that it would belong here (if it's OGL status was at the forefront of my mind). Now imagine a poster that hasn't posted here as often or has been around as long as some of us...

Also, a post here won't leave the first page as fast as in General RPG Discussion, that also means that a lot less folks will have seen it, but here you have a far more focused group of people that are more open to rules and systems that are not strictly D&D.

Wait, Spirit of the Century has been released under *THE* OGL? WoTC's OGL?

Huh. I had no idea. That's crazy.

Yep. I've been pushing for more people to release non-d20 stuff under the OGL for a long time and, while I had nothing to do with SotC, it's nice to see that other people see the possibilities, too. Here is a link to one of the many SotC SRD documents out there.
