If we're talking post-Unearthed Arcana 1E, then we need a ranger, barbarian, magician, thief, cavalier, and acrobat.

Haha. No, he just tries to impress everyone with his magic and ends up making himself disappear when he screws it up. Actually, I typed my list right after waking up and while also replying to IMs in another window. I will go back and fix it.

First off, however suggested a Kender anything should have their hands removed and their tongue cut out.... Kender....*shudder* The only thing Kender are good for is for burning on stakes to light your garden party.

Other than that, the classic human, elf, dwarf, suggestions are really good, but as a player that played a ton of thieves, while halfling may be awesome in some respects, the only race that got racial bonuses to thief abilities and no racial penalties is the half-elf.

This makes them superior as thieves to me, but then I'm weird that way.
