The most unexpected (or strangest) place you've seen Dragon or Dungeon magazine

A few months ago, I was at the office of one of the Chapter 13 trustees in chicago (the place where personal bankruptcy reorganization meetings are held, if that's gibberish), my client had not shown up yet and I hadn't brought anything to read so I took a look at the collection of magazines laid out for browsing.
There was the standard Time, Newsweek, US News, Readers Digest, and there sitting among them was that the previous months Dragon (with no other hobby magazines in sight). I was fairly surprised as it seemed out of place among the others, but people picked it up and browsed through it - probably because it was something different.

So where's an unexpected, surprising or just plain strange, place you've seen Dungeon or Dragon magazine?

That rocks, Mort! Thanks for sharing that. I'm not sure I have personally ever seen one any place that was unusual, though I am sometimes surprised to see someone reading one on the bus or train. :)

On top of a mountain in Greece, in the middle of the ruins of a 3500 year old citadel.

In the lounge of an Ivy league philosophy department.

On the kitchen counter of a rae gae bar.

In the locker of a 250lb linebacker and shot-putter.

Forgotten on a side table at the Frankfurt Airport.

I'm sure there were more. It was everywhere, and now it will be nowhere.

In both Australia and New Zealand, it's become rare to see RPG materials outside of specialist shops (typically game or game/comic shops).

I have however seen Dragon on the news stand from time to time. It's very ... odd to see the magazine in places that would never stock any books.

I strangest (worst) place I found a Dragon Magazine was on the floor with a room full of puppies. It was one of mine.

My great aunt could not find newspaper, so she saw my magazine laying around and put the pieces under the puppies to keep the floor clean. Evidently, Dragon is not very absorbent.

After that event, I never left a Dragon just lying around the house.
