The studio isn't going to let this brand fall out of regular use. And Nielsen, like Nic Cage, defaults to saying yes to any project he's offered.

That said, this could have been truly awful. They could have licensed it out to someone to make something for the direct-to-Amazon Prime garbage pile, instead of pulling in real writers and real actors for a summer theatrical release. Even an Aug. 1 theatrical release suggests some confidence in what they've got.
