The New GameRoom

You could give the room an interesting paint job--make it look like a tavern or a dungeon. If I were doing it, I'd commandeer my whole gaming group to help me deck out and paint the room. It would really help set the mood.
Oh, it'll get a redecorate eventually. But we just redid three rooms in the house, and painting the basement for asthetics pales in comparison to redoing some of the other rooms in the house.

Of course, I don't think we'll be going the 'monster house' route. I mean, we plan to sell this baby in a few years for a better one. :)

Yeaaaaaah North Penn (area). (um insert, crazy 80's rocker smiley face here) Pennsylvania rocks. I mean look at the name, Pennsyl and vania. Ahhh, what wonderful words. That is all, return to non-parochial enjoyment.

A gamer's Monster House would be hysterical though. Chairs like d20's, the kitchen floor is one giant battlemat, a 12' succubus mural ;) and 6' replicas of some mini's flanking the entrance to the gaming room, cleverly hidden by a secret door.

That'd rawk.
