Nah, I don't see it as an issue. This is fairly common. A vrock, for example, isn't immune to either its stunning screech or its spores.

The new version of Pazuzu, as presented in Dragon #329, is amazing. I hope this is the sign of things to come for archfiends and other planar paragons. He jumped from CR 24 to CR 29, placing him ahead of Orcus and only slightly behind Demogorgon in their current incarnatiaons. His damage reduction is 20/epic and lawful and he has a gaggle of cool abilities.

The article also includes stats for his aspect, his minions, and a new bad-ass tanar'ri, the anzu.

James Jacobs has done a fantastic job on this article. If you dig archfiends, or just fiends in general, get this issue!

Agreed. The Pazuzu article was probably my fave in the entire mag...been looking forward to the series of demon things they are doing. What's weird though.....that Pazuzu is damn close (HD, stats, and CR wise) to the revised Pazuzu that appears in Tome 1 revised. :)

That is quite cool. One of the things that thrilled me the most about the article was the inflation of power, closer to the archfiends of the TOH. :D

Not sure how soon Boz-man, but I believe Chaney's about half way through laying it out. Ive seen the PDF layouts for the monsters through like "O".....and its nice. :) New art for some of the stuff too...plus all revised stats (for 3.5) including the "fluffy helper" italics text.

But...back to the Dragon article....Pazuzu is very cool in that article. Very cool indeed.
