I shall not cast aspersions on the personal habits of those who support any particular edition, and if I sense a flame war brewing, will not attempt to escalate it into The Battle of the Somme.

I pledge to speak honestly, to be mainly positive, and to digitally alchemize my quivering excitement at 5e's eventual advent into thoughtful and sometimes light-hearted posts.

I will respect my fellow posters and will not dismiss their opinions out of hand because they're on "Team 4E" or "Team Pathfinder" or "Team 5E" or any other "side" they may have chosen. It is their choice, just like it is my choice to prefer a different game. I will not call someone a disrespectful name nor question their intelligence because they made a different choice than myself. There is no reason to fight. Sure I may disagree with someone's choice, but if that is the manner in which they choose to have fun, I can wish them well in that. We're all in this for fun and fighting helps no one.

No seriously the title of this thread is just a giant red button begging to be pushed. Its a little too early to know enough about 5e for that to happen but I wouldnt try anything like this closer to the release date.

I'd gladly take the pledge, but Edition Warring is a crucial tool in the defense of My Little Pony: The RPG.

If the UEP* will grant me an exemption as concerns My Little Pony: The RPG, then I'll ratify it in my personal parliament and officially become a signatory.

Without such an exemption, I'll unfortunately need to remain free of the constraints of this pledge.
