Where on earth do kids have "Greek Myths" on their syllabus? Certainly not in a typical California public school curriculum in the 21st century.

i'm also sure if i asked my ex-wife who has lived in Missouri her whole life, she'd also not have had a greek myth section. I don't think my son did either, nor my nephews and nieces.

Its used to as a vehicle to teach language skills and history. They also do Norse myths.

UK now. And has been since I was at school myself. Primary teaching is largely based around topics. So they do Knights and Castles, the Ancient Egyptians, Vikings etc as well as myths.
