The Oregon Trail for Windows XP?

The Oregon Trail was a game I seriously loved back in High School. I got to play in LRC when I didn't have homework that I needed help with.

I'd like to play it again, but am not sure if there has been a newer release of it that is compatible with Windows XP. Any help is appreciated.

There was a windows version? The only one I ever saw was the Apple 2 version.

There was a windows version released in 2001, which should work on XP.

Should be the operative word.

We bought a copy for our son. Plays perfectly well on XP. No troubles whatsoever.
