The Oscar Nom Challenge!

Let's get the whole Oscar hype started earlier than normal this year with a preliminary contest called "The Oscar Nom Challenge!"

In this one everyone tries to name their five picks for the BIG 6 categories (picture, director, lead and supporting male and female). I'll come up with a prize sometime closer to the end, but it'll be something worthwhile PLUS you get some bragging rights going into my annual Oscar picks contest.

I think the way we'll do this is to say that we'll leave it open up until midnight, the end of the year, central time (my zone). You can stake your claim to a post and edit it right up until that cut off time but if you edit your post with your picks after that time it automatically disqualifies you from the contest. I'll be using this first post for my picks and might change them before the end also.
