The Pathfinder Wizard and School Power:
Wizards in Pathfinder now get a special ability at every other level called 'school power'. By 20th level you have like ten school powers. But after reading the books I still don't understand what that means? Where's the list of school powers that I can choose from, what are the restrictions, etc.?
The only thing I'm seeing is that if you specialize in a school of magic you get one bonus spell per level (3 bonus for 1st level spells). And you get school related funky abilities; one at 1st, 8th and 20th level.
For example: I chose to be a Diviner specialist so at 1st level I get 'Diviners Fortune' (add your level in points to any skill of your choice- per day), at 8th, 'Scrying Adept' (you know when someone is scrying on you), and a final one at 20th (im forgetting what that is at the moment). As a divining specialist you also always get to act during the surprise round.
But that is the full extent of it. Not sure what I get to do with 10 spell power worth of levels..
