The best cookie is Chocolate Chunk, not chocolate chip. Chocolate chip cookies are so . . . organized and, I dunno, fake-looking.

I have to agree here.
Though I have to also say that Oreos come in a close second to me. I can't stop eating the damn things.
And the only nut worth putting in a cookie is a macadamia.

The perfect cookie is a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie with chopped pecans. It is two and a half inches in diameter and almost (but not quite) falls apart when it is grabbed. Its batter was left in the freezer overnight before it cooked to its current light golden brown shade. And it currently resides somewhere in the California's Bay Area.

You will tell me, of course, where I may find this cookie.

And so help me, it better be as good as you say.

2.5" Diameter, double pecan caramel cookie, still warm, served with a glass of milk...by a hot woman with your winning lottery ticket peeking out of her generous cleavage.

I've got that cookie...*sigh* still waiting for everything after the glass of milk, though.

That sounds like a really great cookie...Good luck on that glass of milk though!

I do love me some sugar cookie though. And I admit I'd prolly love actual choco chip if I wasn't allergic to it ... I'm told I make a killer chocolate mint chip cookie, but I can't actually try them. *sniff*

So yeah. Warm and gooey white chocolate chip, with sugar cookie cream sandwhiches (Doozies at Great American Cookie) coming second, and Oreo's vanilla cream coming in third. Those are the Lord of vanilla sanwhich cookies. All others were made in its image.

I believe the perfect cookie is the sugar cookie. It must be slightly smooshy in the center and dusted lightly with the large-crystal sugar. Mmmm! Nothing better!

100% agree, with one stipulation; nothing is better then freshly baked or at least heated.
