The perfect gamer wife

Well I met my wife at the gaming table at our local gaming club. She is one of my DM's (I also DM for her). She has a gaming book published, and has a contract to write another. Whe have gone to many cons together. And this year due to work issues she is getting to go to Gen Con with out me :( But she has promised to bring hone much swag. :p
I think that she qualifies as being a perfect gamer wife.

Sorry, guys, I have you all beat. Because I have the perfect gamer HUSBAND.

My husband games, but only because I like it so much. He has no interest in going to GenCon, so he's staying home with the dog, the laundry, the vacuuming, the mowing....

We've had some unexpected expenses in the past two months, so several times I've asked him if he wanted me to stay home, and if he said yes I would do so without complaining, but he keeps assuring me that I should go and have a good time. So I am!

You folks are all pretty lucky. My wife has been giving me nothing but grief about going to Gen Con. Of course, I am skipping one of my sisters wedding, and we have a beutiful little five week old girl, as well as a active seven year old son, and a "Oh so wanting to be a teenager" eleven year old daughter to care for while I'm gone. So in retrospect, I guess my wife is pretty damn giving for allowing me to go in the first place.

<laughs> Um, yeah. I think you need to take a lesson from Teflon Billy - that woman deserves a B&B weekend with a massage.

I must admit to having the perfect gamer wife.

Conversation we had at dinner:

Me: One of the guys online, Rel, posted that his wife was the perfect gamer wife because she let him go to GenCon and she stayed home with the kid.

My wife: Uh-huh. I'd do that for you.

Me: *blink*blink* Are you serious?

My wife: Yeah. I have no interest in going but I know you want to so I'd watch Duncan.

So there you have it; I'm going to GenCon next year! :D

That's not better by a long shot:)

Rel just described awoman showering him with gifts and sex as he heads out the door to a Convention.

You describe a competitor for "Rares" ;)

Ah, but my wife shares the Rares. So I get the gifts and sex AT the Convention.

My wife played D&D, Shadowrun, Vampire, AND All Flesh Must Be Eaten.

Plus, she watches Battlestar Galactica (as long as I promise to watch Gilmore Girls).

I'm happy.
