OOC: Sorry. They put me doing a job that keeps me offline today. I'll sneak this in when nobody's looking (warning: bad haiku ahead):

(The snake lies across the peaks; conceals the foray of the fires!)

Smiling at his success, the Poet follows up quickly:

The snake crosses peaks
And subtlely concealing
Forays in Fire.

The poet points, and the Jester sees, lying across the top of the nearby mountains, an incredible python. It uncoils and bears down on him, hissing and smelling its prey with its tongue.

OOC: What is it with me and reptiles? And still no turtle in sight! *sigh*

[13:29] <MechaMeowth> jezter6: The blizzard decimates the glade; quells the beauty of the pole!

Jezter calls upon the power of weather to help him defeat his foe. Althouh un-skilled in the use of blizzards, he calls upon the power of the winter storm to freeze the lizard that is coming twoards him.

He looks at the poet and wonders if he's learning a new lizard style or just has some sort of strange fetish.

OOC: If you get a lizard again you'll have to learn a new style in it. :)

Bad Haiku's and serpents are not looking to favor the poet's inner fire. The blizzard quells the reptile and destroys the fire... most definitely:

This round goes to Jezter.

2 Flags Jezter

1 Flags Merak Speilman

Jezter raises his arms to his shoulders to represend the 2 extra heads of the chimera. He stalks closer to the Poet, getting in close combat range so that the poet's speed will not save him.

He leaps into the air slashing out with both hands and trying to bite with his head, as the great chimera does in battle.

[18:32] <MechaMeowth> jezter6: The chimera tracks close to the beach; removes the speed of the rodent!

OOC: sorry again. Life is crazy.

(The nunchaku eliminates the ocean; averts the violence of the grave!)

As ivory nunchaku whirl at night,
And dragons eat all pearls in sight,
Poets there be eternally
Who dance with words and rhyme in fight.

The Ocean evaporates silently,
As gravestones turn over violently,
But the dispaced sea returns to me
And averts all threats marvoulously.

The Poet, hoping that this verse will reverse the failure of the previous, wills the words into being. A being appears, crafted out of the very elemental water, drawn from the depths of the sea. He bears nunchaku carved from the horns of the Narwhales, and moves with the power of his element.
This servent bows briefly to the Poet and presses an attack on the Jester, fighting the alien with a ferocity unmatched by most earthly beings.

OOC: Finally, no reptiles!

OOC: No problem. I was going to give you till tomorrow anyways before I'd have called for a DQ. I don't like to do that to people, so I usually give a few days, because I know real life things happen.

Two moves that I feel are not really compatable... and with only a few very "vague" associations in technique... I feel this flag goes to Merak.

2 flags Merak
2 flags Jezter

(The invisible northstar stands by the dungeon; blocks the motion of the wood as it protects against the cut of the venom!)

OOC: darn! I should have picked Northstar as my Dojo style instead of Southern Cross! Again, no reptiles, but there is some venom...

The Poet smiles at the success of his elemental, then dismisses it with a sharp clap of his hands. He continues boldly:

And to keep my Dojo up to par,
I call upon the Northern Star!
Though dungeons vile and villians stern
Attempt to stand 'gainst its noble burn,
It blocks their motions (as it should)
like an axe against the wood.
And when the trecherous poison strikes,
With honorable ire the sky it lights!

Shining through the clouds to the north, the light from an unseen star with honorable might plummits like a hammer to stand full upon the Jester's head, attempting to burn his face.
