After having seen the Interview, I am very disappointed.
Okay, not very. But it wasn't as good as the Beholder or the Ooze Mind Flayer ones - and it lacked a Gnome. Still made me smile.

Once again, the reporter is shown off as a tool that can be killed at any time and is unaware of the threats to his life.
I would have expected more respect for media representatives like those reporters that courageously report from dangerous regions like Iraq or Afghanistan, consistently risking their lives. They are fully aware of the dangers, and if they are killed, it is not because of their ignorance, it is because of their dedication to find the truth, and the disregard or even hatred, of war participants to the same (at least they got the last one right).

I finally got a chance to watch it last night... I thought it was pretty funny. In that weird I can't believe I'm a dork enough to find this funny, sort of way.

I did find paicular amusement in the "we love you!" bits the Kobolds kept yelling, and the troll was great... blag blag gnomes blag blag...

Also I wonder... Was the Kobold high master supposed to be The Rouse? :D

Speaking for the Silent WoTC?

Wrong. You are reading way to much into this. The truth is this is all a allegory for my life.

  • I am the red dragon.

  • The pile of gold is my new landscaping

  • The adventurers are the kids in my neighborhood who insist on trying to use my new landscaping as a BMX launch ramp

  • The kobolds are the animals who bury stuff in the garden, cute - but annoying

  • The troll is the neighbor lady who called the city after we had legally cut down some dying trees in the aforementioned new and improved landscaping.

  • The interviewer is my other neighbor who likes what we did with the yard and wants the name of our landscaper and who I may want to eat for dinner at some point.

Hee. I laughed (which would make it a first with these animations), and thought it generally in good fun. ("We Love You!") I'm going to have those kobold voices in my head for days now.

Btw, since you are back on the boards, could you tell us what happened with those gnome t-shirts you said some company would be making? Rawr - I am a monster and all that jazz...
