I liked it.

I particularly enjoyed the chorus of "We love you!" after each mention of the "Beloved Master".

I'm hoping for an interview with Orcus. :)

I really cannot get enough of these. Being able to laugh about yourself and the flames you get is something i´d really wish more publishers could do. More! I second the request for a "meet Orcus" cartoon.

"I support 4e. I am rather easy to talk to and give intelligent responses."

"I HATE 4e, AND I'M A CRAZED TROLL WHO CANNOT TALK IN COMPLETE SENTENCES AND USES ALL CAPS, LOOK AT HOW IRRATIONAL I AM!"

Were that cartoon to come from anywhere else, it would be banned from these forums for purposefully attempting to start an edition war.

When in Rome...

I have such a hard time imagining how one could be offended by any of these cartoons. They, like most good humor, seem to poke fun of just about everyone. The Simpsons did that well (earlier on) and I think Family Guy does, too. If you think about how many people probably send in angry letters to those shows...and then you think about these D&D cartoons, it seems pretty mild.

They're just fun. :) And free. Why can't that just...be?

I enjoyed it, laughed at the Troll. Completely missed the “Sycophantic Kobolds as 4e supporters” theme. Lol

Really, I cannot imagine how people can get upset at this cartoon. if you do, I feel, you maybe taking the whole thing a little too seriously.

Hilarious! And totally appropriate humor. I worry about anyone who identified enough with the troll or the kobolds enough to take offense.

One of the early lessons of the internet, besides Rule34, was that no matter how obviously something was intended and marked as a joke, someone will find some way to take offence.

Compare this to the PVP thread from last week as an example.

I enjoyed it, though I prefered the sort of humor portrayed in the mind flayer one more. It probably helps that I'm not on either side of the 4e debate so I can't really identify with any possible offensive stereotypes.

I just bask in the sillyness. Life needs more silly.

So true. :(

The way people react to jokes (bad and good ones, offensive or not) seems to be telling.
