While I hope this doesn't become a continuation of the previous thread, I noticed something that could probably be addressed fairly easily from a site standpoint.
If a user starts from a product link, where no policy or guidelines for reviews are posted, and clicks the "New Review" button, they are taken to a screen to enter their review, just like a normal post on the site. No review guidelines are visible, nor are they quick to find, unless one goes to the review main page or the forums.
My suggestion: Add a link to the reviews.php into the reviews_newreview.php file, above the posting window, so that new reviewers have a better opportunity to see the guidelines for posting a review.
This whole situation might have been avoided if these new review posters knew what the policy was. While I heard ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law, it still helps (and can't hurt) to show people what the law is.
