Limit Break Dancing (He/They)
The page count in the 4E monster manual (the last time I checked, anyway) was about a hundred pages less than the 3.5E version. It made me wonder just how serious WotC is about streamlining the new edition, making it smaller-faster-better and such. I worry about how much some of the books are getting cut...the MM especially...but I have to admit that a lot of books could only benefit from a good pruning. And some books are so small and contain so little real information, that they probably shouldn't have been written at all.
So in the spirit of good humor, I thought it would be fun to invent titles and topics for the shortest 4th Edition D&D book ever written. Here are a few candidates:
"Career Opportunities for Gnomes"
"The Spiked Chain Through History"
"Monster Manual CCLXXXIV"
"The Warlock's Guide to Fashion"
"Slayer's Guide to Flumphs"
"The Bard's Guide to Melee Combat"
"Benefits of Being Lawful Good"
"Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Xorn (But Were Afraid to Ask)"
"Dragon Magazine: All Issues, 2008-09."
Any more?
