The Songheart
It is said that music can cut you to the bone with the emotions that it invokes. Happiness, sorrow, rage, or pain can often cut sharp as a knife. Most musicians that truly feel for their craft strive to create a mood with their music. The most potent of these are called the Songhearts.
Their music crosses all boundaries, all races, creating emotion and recalling memories. Their songs can drive away demons or call forth angels, heal or destroy, bring sorrow or joy.
The Songhearts are travelers, wanting to spread their songs far and wide. They enjoy sharing their songs with all, and always stop to lend a hand where they may. They delight in sharing tales from abroad, exchanging new music, and showing off their magic. They abhor evil and ugliness and strive to stamp it out or banish it wherever they can. They are known to be able to draw strong allies to them with their music, and woe betide the brigand that thinks a lone Songheart incapable of defending herself or those in her charge.
Bards are obviously the most typical Songhearts, but other classes with a similar devotion to song and beauty could take this path as well.
