The Spear of the Lohgin

Menexenus?
What an incredible coincidence; I just reread that dialogue for a rhetoric class and was involved in a great discussion about Aspasia's influence on Socrates. How appropriate a name for someone writing what is effectively a eulogy :).
And for the record, the reviewer is entirely correct. This was the first RPG product I ever wrote (The first of about twenty) and suffered from my very limited understanding (at the time) of the d20 rules. What is important is to put it in context, as Henry Lopez does, and understand that this was one of the first d20 products written and was completed before all the core builder books were even out.
In fact, I believe I used the preview monster stats from the back of the Player's Guide at the time and for new monsters, I just tweaked them (badly)- and yeah, I admit I rushed it a bit. Sue me, I was a young and overeager :). Any flaws shouldn't reflect badly on PCI, who are still making excellent products set in the same world.
Hopefully people will view the Spear of the Lohgin as I do, as an interesting bit or memorabilia from an earlier time. And go check out Living Arcanis!
Thanks for the review.
