Heh...I was about to come here and bump this thread...it was a good surprise to see someone else had already done so. :)

I would however vote for having multiple columns in the future. Single column text that spans the whole page gets tiring after awhile.

Also, regarding the spell Summon Construct, I'm not sure why the caster can only make a five-foot step when he can already conduct a partial action. The caster could fly or do any number of things as a partial action, so restricting walking to just a five-foot step seems odd.

Because he is concentrating on keeping his golem together...LOL

Sorry...golem are a little too powerful to allow the wizard full power while controlling one created by a spell...that was done for balance purposes.

I already make too many 9th level spells as it is and didn't want to have to raise it to a level where most PC wizards and sorcerers will never have it.

By "odd," I guess I meant: arbitrary. If it's important that the caster do nothing but concentrate on the spell, then partial actions should be disallowed.

This is most awesome! Especially the Initiate of The Machine (I hope to see more of this in future publications or on the site).

Only one small problem, a grammer error on the IOTM page:

Mechnical Familiar: equal to one skill for ever 3 levels the initatiate as attained (should be has).

Urklore the Iron!

Hey...long time no see...probably don't remember me but we traded links when my site was still on GeoCities. Its good to see you download the Stygian :)

I am including an errata section for Issue one in Issue two...so make sure and send me or post any rules errors you find so I can fix them.

The Initiate of the Machine has been voted my best prestige class. I have no idea why..LOL...I am usually better with necromancer type of classes. :)

I am going to be adding onto the background of the IOTM in later issues.

Contents..

Those Who Call: My article detailing 5 new conjurer prestige classes: The Initiate of the Machine, The Ikere Summoner, The Voidist, the Savage Healer, and the Binder of the Planes. Also details a new spell (Summon Construct) and several new feats.

Elemental Conjurers: A 2E article about how to play an effective elemental conjurer (a elementalist who doesn't do the flashy magic thing). Has a new spell.

Infernal Creations: A collection of D20 magical items which an evil conjurer would love to get his or her hands on: Dagger of Summons, Shrunken Heads, Wand of Manes, Spine Darts, Devil and Demon feather tokens, and the Globe of Shadow Avatars.

Magnified: Demons: While Dragon has the "xxx vs. xxx" article, we have the article for the other side...the monster. This article is how to effectively use different types of summoned monsters in combat.

Venomous Vats: An article on a random subject by an insane death knight with nothing else better to do. This issues article is on adding energy templates to a conjurer's minions.

Tome of Worlds: An article on a mini-setting called Illiandor..a city not unlike old Venice, Italy with more corruption and magic thrown in.

Hallowtide Wedding: A FULL Length adventure for any horror based campaign setting.

Have an Evil Christmas: The result of the Christmas contest ran at RealmsOfEvil.Net. Has three new evil-aligned Santa's for you to enjoy. :)

Don't seem like much...but it did take up 70 pages :)

Oh...before I forget...if you guys have any suggestions on changes of the material in the first issue...please e-mail me and tell me so I can add it to the errata sheet. :)
