The Thieves' Guild guildmaster will be getting a stiff note

First Post
So, I stop to eat Friday before heading to a friend's house. After eating, I come out and notice little sparklly stuff on the ground next to my drivers side window. Sparkly stuff that looks like shattered glass.....

Oh, bloody hell.

Some mental midget swiped my laptop. Annoying but not a big loss it was old and starting to overheat since I damaged a fan last time I percussion tuned it :)

Then I remember: My notebook for my current campaign was in the laptop case.

Now that is really annoying. All the master maps, some that I havent duplicated, are all gone. Some of the maps are nearly a decade old now, and are the ma[s for my campaign world.

All the notes on my prior sessions in the current campaign, all gone. I dont even have the stats for the few magic items/ artifacts I have handed out anymore. I am glad I can get them from the players, but I havent told them everything about a couple of the items, and I dont remember fully what my plans for them were (that would be why I have a notebook :) )

Next weeks adventure, all gone.

The only even thin sliver lining is that we had just finished the first phase of the campaign, so I didnt have alot of future stuff planned fully.

So, has anyone else lost something like this?

p.s. I may have to blow up the whole planet, just to get that one guy

pp.s. hit back to see the first half of the comic.

ppp.s. If you dont know what What's New is, hit start on the comic page, and get a free skillpoint in knowledge: D&D history

I'm sorry to hear it - people suck, sometimes.

Fortunately, I've not had it happen, but I do know a couple of different people who have, though they lost work info, not game info, which sucked slightly worse. :) In one guy's case, his insurance paid for glass replacement, but in the other case, the guy lost a very expensive camera, AND he was on his own for the window replacement.
