The Time on these boards is wrong

Ok, up until now this hasn't bugged me but since I've just started a PBP where I'm using GMT to base minimum posts off (1 per 24 hour period, from midday GMT to midday GMT the next day, all players have alternate nicks with their time set to GMT +00) and I have to regulate it, it's become annoying.

I know it's not a major issue, but I also know it's no big deal to set the time right. It's about 14 minutes fast by my clock and since my computer uses a network time server that updates every day that I log on... I'm pretty sure I've got the right time...

Again, it's not a major issue, it's just annoying.

No need to be smarmy about it, sheesh. I was just pointing out something that has bugged me for a long time and that now because I'm relying on the time on the boards I thought I'd mention it.

Obviously other's have before me and you know of why it is so.

If chatdemon is still in Florida and I can get into contact with him, I'll let him know... actually, letting him know the physical location of the servers might not be such a good idea

No, I was being funny, not smarmy. But I am sick, so my sense of humor isn't what it should be.

This actually bugs me too. I'm not sure whether or not the server clock just keeps lousy time, or if it was set wrong. Next time I have occasion to call them, I'll mention it.

Yes, the server appears to have cronic time-keeping.

I reset it - it should be better now.
