The Totally Insane setting/genre mixing game

Okay lets start a game here, In which someone suggests 2 seemingly incompatible settings/genres for a game, and the next person has to describe how it could possibly work (in a sentence or two or whatever). That person can then suggest the next combination. So on and so on.

Note: the idea came from a combination of the "Make an NPC/Organization/Item/whatever" games/threads on the D20 modern boards on the WotC site a while back, and the apparent existance of an article on the use of "Lovecraftian Supers" (which I was too cheap to subscribe to the service to read).

As an initial combination I throw out: Greek Myth and Space Opera

Umm... advance the tech level, make pegasis and the argo big ships, and give hercules guns.

How about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine?

Now you're just missing out on all the fun. Imagine...

H'erakles stood on the bridge of his custom built Pegas-1 starcruiser, and gazed out through his viewscreen while chittiering his muscle-clad mandibles. Before him lay the lush jungle planet Amazonia-8, where his next challenge awaited him; the capture of the Lazer-Belt of Ares, which currently lay in the hands of the frighteningly busty and strikingly underclad Queen of the Amazonia-8ians...

LOL this happens in fanfic crossovers all the time! (my secret addiction whoot)

ok
Buffy the vamp slayer and deep space nine.
willow casts a spell that backfires, sending the gang to deepspace nine. or
Q enters the picture, after seeing a big-bad-evil from the buffy-verse show up in Bajoran space. He wiggles his meta-physical finger (in a logical way that doesn't reveal his presence) and poofs the scoobies to DS9, where they have to help the Deep spacers fight off the BBE.

I throw out:
buffy the vampire slayer and lord of the rings (third age, just b4 the war of the rings)

Deadlands & Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?

Queer Eye for the Dead Guy

Mold, larvae, tomb rot, what's a modern Harrowed gunslinger to do?

Call the Fab Five, of course!

Every game, the PCs take on the roles of the Fab Five (Saloon Gal class perfectly acceptable, if done tastefully) and "rescue" some poor schlep who just dug his way out of a shallow grave.

Back from the dead but worried that your old sweetie won't go for the "post-life" look? Call the Fab Five!

Edit: Lewd jokes about rigamortis will cost you xp. Or get you an xp bonus, depends on the GM. ;)

I propose Lord of the Rings and Mecha Crusade.
