The Two Towers Extended DVD review

I'm not waiting for an Ultimate Edition - merely a collected Trilogy boxed set which I'm hoping will simply be the three extended editions collected together. That's all. I'd guess that would be fairly likely to happen, and that's why I'm waiting for it.

Honestly, I'm really don't think they're even going to do that. But I could be wrong. I've been wrong once before. I think... :D

The ultimate edition which is in my mind a product of their imagination.
The Ultimate Edition being, of course, the edition where Ian McKellen sits in front of a black screen and reads the whole trilogy to us for 12 hours straight. Including Appendices. :D

If only... sigh.

And yeah, my birthday's the 16th... my wife already knows what I want for a gift. :)

Well I suppose we could dream :). Ian Mckellen has a wonderful voice and appears to me to be a fabulous narrator, I would pay a lot of money for such a product. However, it will never happen :(

Umm... right. Well, whatever floats your boat, I guess...

:D I'm with you. But then, I never have understood the whole audiobook craze, either. Listening to someone read a book....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

The only thing I could think would get me to buy an ultra-extended edition of LotR would also require some new technology. If we could put 12 or so hours of video on one disc, then I'd love to see all movies together on one dvd, spliced so that there wasn't a break between movies (no ending/beginning credits in between the movies). That would be cool. Watch all three movies in a row. No changing discs. No credits between the first and second or second and third. Now that I might buy. But I'm not holding my breath. (Besides, given my probable constitution score of around 11, maybe 12, I'd only last a couple minutes holding my breath anyway...)
