Half the time. Most horror fans seem to love it or hate it; those that hate it would probably put it in the cheesy category.

This is a movie that ordered sight-unseen simply because of its title. Its title is really the only thing that it has going for it. It's not even bad enough to be fun. I'm still kicking myself over buying this one.

Just to address the elephant in the room:

How is cheesy 'defined', or being used, here?

Because seeing Evil Dead, Big Trouble in Little China, and Kentucky Fried Movie in this list of "cheesy movies" suggests to me that people have a WIDE variety of definitions of the term.

Gotta go with Reaper here--what's considered 'cheesy?' I thought you were looking for bad movies that were still fun. Folks are mentioning Galaxy Quest , Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein and stuff like that--those aren't cheesy in the slightest, or if they are, their cheesiness is wholly intended.
