Description:
This spell is the final word in defensive magic, completely invunerable to those against whom it is cast, yet cannot be used to protect an attacker. Upon casting, the wizard decides wheter the circle protects against the inside or the outside. If set to the inside, nothing within the lines of the barrier can escape or attack through the barrier until the spell expires or the circle is broken. If set to protect from the outside, whatever is within the lines of the barrier is absolutely invunerable to every conceivable attack.
In all cases, any force or attack against the invunerable side will be reflected back against its initiater. If a creature on the protected side moves or attacks through the barrier, the spell is broken.
The above rule has one exception, the caster of the circle can open the circle for an instant to teleport or planar travel himself or anyone else across the barrier without breaking the circle.
This spell can be made permanent without special research. Black blade of Disaster will reave through this spell but is itself destroyed creating an explosion centered on the place the two spells touched and dealing forth 1d12 damage/combined caster levels to all in a 50 foot radius. A successful reflex save reduces the damage by half.
Material Component: 500 gp worth of gold dust per caster level to be laid out in a circle.
