The very sporadic ever slowing game

Bernlin: “Good, very good. Now, it is necessary to get the map but this must be handled carefully. I think you should meet with Marymet and then decide the best method for obtaining it. Also if any of you want to fight at the coliseum, I suggest you go sign up now and draw your color.”

Bernlin seems suddenly unfocused, “I have other business, now.”

The door swings open and a figure in a deep gray, hooded robe steps in. He pulls a heavy backpack off his shoulder and holds it out towards Bernlin. Dark green and black scales cover the individual’s hands.

Bernlin looks down at his bowl, “Guess I’ll have to eat later,” he turns to face scaly and points towards the rear door. “Let’s do this.”

Bernlin grabs his bag and rod; the new arrival follows the gnome around the bar and to a backroom.

One of the half-elves slides off his chair and onto the floor, but it doesn’t seem to disturb his slumber.

Azoc looks over at him, “I probably should take nap before the fight. If anyone else wants a room, say so now.”

Azoc looks over at him, ?I probably should take nap before the fight. If anyone else wants a room, say so now.?

"Please Sir, I´d like a room for the night." Says a soft voice coming from the open door.

"I hope youre still accepting cus...c... visitors"

(ooc: Sorry, everybody, so sorry)

Vorgoth stands from his seat and looks at Valgon(psi-tiger) which wakes in response to his gaze. He briefly wonders what business Bernlin had but quickly the curiousity diminishes. He then looks at Azoc and replies "no room for me, i prefer the trees to any indoor space......but one thing i do wish for, what time are you fighting? i would very much like to see a seasoned fighter in the arena."

Few seconds later he adds "and besides....a small wager never hurt anyone." the same smile as earlier grows on Vorgoth's face and he gently holds the swan he made earlier.

"We probably should scout the place out to see what it looks like and where things are. If we follow the basic plan we already discussed then we at least want to know in general where things are. Plus, if we could get the map without thievery it would be better."

the plot thickens

Vorgoth sits intently in his chair again and looks at all present. "Well, the way i see it, we have a chance of talking her out of the map if she will listen. One thing though, its obvious we'll need a backup plan, i can distract the map's owner while you nab the map, needless to say i'll need your input."

He looks at the small band and gazes from one face to the next waiting for any ideas to boost their chances. Valgon(psi-tiger) lays back down at his feet and seems to fall asleep again.

"I'd like a room for tonight. I have possesion of a Crystal Ball and if you give me a discription of this woman than I will scry her for you. As for distracting the owner of the map, I think that if someone could summon a moster right on her doorstep it would provide plenty of distraction."

Vorgoth looks about the room as the group discusses using the crystal ball and a smirk grows on his face as he remembers the half-elves have passed out. "dont have to pay for this one" his says softly as he gets up and walks toward their table and pops the cork on another bottle. "well, i dont mind either way, use the ball if you want; i always liked using more suttle means......."

Vorgoth snaps his fingers and Valgon jumps to his feet and walks out the door and down the alley. "i'll see what he turns up, proceed if you wish."

Azoc collects 2 gp from Namy and Paskatoy and pulls out keys for rooms 5 and 6 "The rooms are upstairs".

Azoc glares at Vorgoth, "The fight order is random, I could be called to battle at any moment."

OOC
Yes, I assume Namy hears Talea's words
OOC

Azoc:"Marymet is a red haired human with a fierce temper. She seems magically inclined. I have not actually met her, I am relying on what Bernlin has told me. He also said her tent has some magical energies woven into its fibers."

Rooms
The upstairs rooms are simple; the doors have sturdy deadbolt locks, and each room has a barred window, a bed, a wooden chair, and a chest. A careful glance at the chests' locks reveal that they have been utterly destroyed (picked so repeatedly they fell apart).
