ooc: I would assume so. It would make things a lot easier. I'm guessing just assume that you heard the gnome's speech earlier and are now asking to assist.
ooc2: I am out of town until late Sunday night.

Vorgoth's face seemed covered in hard thought after he sits back down and seldomly sips the bottle he took. "well, our options are seeming to dwindle, a human is usually easy enough to con, no offense Azoc.....but they seem hasty so to speak, but i have known red haired humans to be the least likely to fall to fancy speech. They are quick to anger as is, but this has a fierce temper and magical powers, i think we would be better off using stealth on this mission. However, i dont know how we would go about it, i am not one for such planning. Scouting the area will be first up, then a proper plan of entry, a distraction, and the one among us that is quickest on their feet to make the escape with the map.......agreed?"

"Agreed," Ghaleon smiles, "I think I have an idea for the distraction, although we need to plan this out a bit, is there anything else we know about this encampment?"

A reassuring smile comes and goes from Vorgoth's face. "Indeed, this will take knowing much more about this person as well as any guards she has." "Azoc, i dont suppose you know anything about the layout of this building or any soldiers do you?"

Azoc closes his eyes for a moment," I shall try to recount the story as the mage told it to me."

"After standing in a line outside the tent for almost 10 minutes I was ushered into a room with five chairs, all occupied by other buyers except for one which had a large book resting upon it. Inside were both a man and woman. The man was wearing a strange mask that concealed much of his facial appearance. He also carried a harp which he was playing. His armor was a strange white material with silver studs; it must have been some type of beast leather. A man outside the entrance was also wearing the same type of armament. The woman with flaming red hair wore plate mail. She introduced herself as Marymet and owner of the establishment. She was sitting on a pile of cushions across the small room. I picked up the book and took the seat. It was a catalog of items with full descriptions of the merchandise except for the price. After finding the map in the listing, I approached her and asked about the cost. Her fee was massive and I saw it as a joke. I said it must have been such and she seemed to anger.
The heat inside the tent was oppressive and too intense so I cast a spell to lower it, before I tried to haggle more. A furor I have rarely seen came into her eyes and she ordered me out. I would have released my own anger upon her but she carries the same protection from Trenton as the Broken Hand. I knew better than to challenge her then and so I left without another word."

Azoc takes a deep breath, "The tent itself is quite large and Berlin's description of the interior suggests that it is sectioned off with at least a waiting room and stock room for no goods were in the area of the five chairs. Although the building is a tent it has a wooden floor. Strange as that is the tent also seems to radiate a magic energy of its own."

"This makes it sound like our back-up plan may not work. I don't think 2 scuptures is going to be enough unless she takes a quick liking to them. I wonder if she can pick up on psionics the way she picked up on the mage's spell."

Vorgoth hums slowly to himself for a moment and replies,".....this reminds me of a story that a bard in my village spoke of "a creature of the likes many had never seen, lived in a great oak near the center of a hollow. one was only to walk inside the narrow split in the tree and before them was a wide hall with pillars of massive stone and gold trimmings on all the tapestries." He then falls into silence for a moment as if the memory stirred a horror in his mind.

He comes out of his blank stare and resumes. But perhaps this is more than it seems, the wooden floor would suggest that maybe the ground floor is not the only part to this tent. Maybe they have delved beneath the tent to make a basement of sorts, or cellar. then again, if this women is that powerful, then there may exist within her halls a portal,.......where to i cannot guess; but it would surely be a good place to hide all that treasure she claims to have. Though that does seem far-fetched." "...............and where is that lazy Valgon, its been long enough...."

About that time the tiger walks in with a dire rat in his mouth. "Im not impressed" Vorgoth says and the tiger tosses the rodent out the door and lays at his masters feet.

"I say we go take a look around this place and find out about it first. By magic, by psionics, or in person does not matter to me - we need to get more information. Paskatoy, do you want to use your crystal ball or do you want to take a look in person?"
