She of the rather infamous secret diary, and later a featured character (the Joke) when Roy and H.G. did RttToEE. Just thought I'd put up her stats for posterity.


BACKGROUND

Padma Illindra hails from Ghandarva, an exotic land of jungles far to the east. Early on, she demonstrated an aptitude for the martial arts, and was sent to learn wisdom from a sensei. While she was away, a band of rat hengeyokai found her village, and started extorting gold and food from the villagers. After many months of this, a wandering Kara-Turian warrior incited the spirit folk to rise up against the bandits. They succeeded in destroying the hengeyokai, but the village was itself burned to the ground and most of the spirit folk killed, including Padma's parents.

When Padma returned, she found precious few survivors. With nothing left for her, she has dedicated herself to finding this Kara-Turian man, whom she knows only as "Lao". She doesn't know what she'll do if and when she finds him. Part of her holds him responsible for the deaths of her kinsfolk, and wants to avenge them. Another part wants to congratulate him for standing up to evildoers, even if things went wrong. Most of all, perhaps, she wants answers.

Temperamentally, Padma is quiet and withdrawn. This shouldn't be mistaken for lack of resolve, however; she's quite capable of standing up to adversaries twice her size. Despite her strong sense of honor, she also has a keen appreciation for irony, and has been known to make bitingly sardonic comments when the mood strikes her. (This last bit is so I can make silly jokes without being too OOC)
